Always verify the final file against the exact requirements of the form or service you are submitting it to before relying on it.

Browser limitations

Because these tools run in your browser rather than on a server, they are subject to the capabilities of your specific browser and device. Some formats (such as HEIC and GIF) have limited support for being written back out in their original format due to browser restrictions, which is noted directly within the relevant tools.
