Files you process

PixelPress's image tools — Converter, Compressor, Compress to KB, and Resize — run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. When you upload an image into one of these tools, that file is processed locally on your device. It is never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by any PixelPress server, because no server is involved in the processing at all.

The one exception is HEIC/HEIF file conversion, which loads a small third-party JavaScript library from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr) to enable your browser to read that format. Loading this library does not send your image anywhere; the conversion itself still happens locally on your device.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use any tool on this site. We do not collect the images, filenames, or content you process.

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically log standard technical information such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is used only in aggregate to understand site usage and is not linked to the files you process.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data and opt out of personalized advertising through Google's advertising policy page.

We may also use standard analytics cookies to understand aggregate site traffic. These do not identify you personally.

This site may link to external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and encourage you to review their policies separately.

Children's privacy

PixelPress is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
